  • Every week Harriet ships peat free plants all across the UK, with the exceptions of the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, The Isles of Scilly and the Isle of Man.

    Harriet sends parcels on a Monday and Tuesday to ensure a prompt delivery.

    All plants are shipped in environmentally friendly packaging with a ‘how to’ guide for getting rid of the waste.

    All packaging is compostable and will always be that way to ensure Harriet’s Plants can be returned to the earth, as nature intended.

  • If you have any specific requirements that you would like Harriet to add on to your order, such as, ‘Please leave in porch if not in’ or ‘Please place in empty bin near front door’ then do so at checkout.

    Please be aware that Harriet cannot accept any responsibility for a lost parcel that has been left in a safe place.

  • Harriet’s Plants send plants on a Monday and Tuesday only. This allows the couriers to ensure the parcel gets to you in a timely manner and doesn’t sit in a sorting office over the weekend.

    Once the plant is on it’s way to you, you will receive an email with your personal tracking details.

    Most deliveries arrive within 1-2 days but please check your tracking information for delivery updates on your order.

    Do I need to be home for the delivery?

    The parcels delivered will be in a Royal Mail small parcel which means they will either need a safe place for delivery or someone in to take the parcel. Royal mail will leave a note to say they have been and where to find the parcel. You will also be able to find any information via the tracking number provided to you.

  • Plants are sent and packaged perfectly by Harriet’s Plants. Believe us, Harriet has been doing it a while. However, it is inevitable that damages will occur despite precise packaging. Don’t worry if this happens.

    If a replacement is needed, Harriet will be happy to replace what is damaged.

    Please email Harriet with photos of the parcel and the damaged plants/products within 24 hours of receiving your parcel and Harriet will sort the rest for you. We will need:

    - order number (found on your confirmation email)

    - A photograph of the damage (Including the exterior packaging and label).

    This is so we can communicate with the courier regarding the parcel.

    If the damaged product is in stock, a replacement will be sent, however things sell out fast. So if the plant becomes unavailable, an alternative plant or refund will be offered.

    We don’t accept damages after 24 hours as plants are living.

    Please soak plants in water upon arrival to give the plants a drink after their journey to you.

  • Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since you placed your order, unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund or exchange

    All plants are perishable and fragile, Harriet’s Plants cannot accept returns unless damaged.

    Please bear in mind when ordering, that all plants are different and special in their own way. Harriet tries really hard to ensure the product photography represents the plants sent, but some variation may apply.

    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • If you have an emergency plant order that needs delivering on a certain day, please place your order and send an email as soon as possible. This allows Harriet to make arrangements for your order.
