Saxifraga stolonifera // strawberry saxifrage

£10.50

Why I love this plant

I LOVE the way this Saxifraga creeps in habitat and trails over the side of the pot once established.

———————————————————

A little tip

These plants love to have over head light to encourage even growth and exceptional photosynthesis. A great plant for under or near an overhead window. Please don’t hang directly in full sun so that the plant becomes scorched though.

———————————————————

Pot size // 10cm

Grown in Cornwall, UK using peat-free compost and chemical-free, biological plant care.

———————————————————

Growing

Country of origin // China, Korea and Japan.

Position // Bright indirect light an over head light is preferred.

———————————————————

Care

Difficulty // easy care

Light // Full sun or very bright conditions are needed.

Water // allow the plant to dry slightly between waterings, but never allow the plant to become bone dry. I like to grow them for indoor cultivation but they can also be grown outdoors, especially in the warmer months.

Feed // Feed every 3 weeks or so in the growing months and reduce feeds during the winter to low the plant to go dormant.

Humidity // isn’t necessary but some is enjoyed.

Pets // pet friendly
