About the role

Harriet’s Plants is looking for a hard working, thoughtful and passionate individual that takes pride in good communication, great gardening work and is happy working in all weather conditions. This role will begin as maternity cover, although it may have the potential to be more. It will predominantly be working alone once the initial introduction into each garden has occurred, but in the long run, it could be with either myself or another member of the team.

Harriet’s Plants prides itself on it’s environmental and sustainable ethos. The gardens that we take on have followed suit or have hired us with this in mind as they also care so deeply about their wildlife and plant life. We have always been chemical free and tread as lightly as possible in the gardens that we work in.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to make change — a keen interest in eco friendly gardening is imperative and an open mindedness to what each garden might entail is important.

The nursery also works alongside the private gardens I work in and I grow plants for lots of my clients. There may also be some nursery work involved in the long run, but not for the first few months.

Harriets Plants is offering genuine flexibility, with hours negotiable and able to fit around childcare and family commitments
We are looking for a friendly, down-to-earth team member that is passionate about the land, the people, and our community. Communication is essential.
